As a Healthcare Assistant, the post holder is expected to assist the nursing team in achieving high standards of care delivered on the unit. They must team lead the HCA team by delegating relevant tasks to ensure that expected standards are reached.

Main duties of the job
- To undertake the role of assisting in the delivery of all aspects of care to ensure patient centred care is delivered safely and in a timely manner.
- To provide clinical support as required to help ensure the efficient and effective running of the unit at all times.
- Assist in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care and enable patients to achieve all aspect of daily living.
