Staff Nurse - PIU
Band 5
On 1st April 2020, North Manchester General Hospital became part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) under a new management agreement. The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group will continue to support North Manchester with its recruitment and workforce requirements until the service is formally transferred into MFT. North Manchester General Hospital has a vibrant future ahead as it works with MFT to provide better care for patients and their families in the local community and across Greater Manchester. Plans to create an innovative health campus which will see a new hospital build and the development of a ‘wellbeing hub’ that will bring health and economic benefits to the wider community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual who would be interested in working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Someone who is keen to utilise to their full potential their existing skills whilst developing new one’s. You would be working within the day case/PIU area where you will provide treatments and complete investigations for patients under the care of a number of specialities such as Haematology, Endocrine , Gastroenterology and Rheumatology.
A 1st level registered nurse , you will need to be a good team player, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Operational hours 08:00 - 20:00 hours daily Monday to Friday.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis for a period of 6 months.
