North Manchester Care Organisation comprises North Manchester General Hospital and is an organisation steeped in history playing a significant part in the general health and well being of its local community for well over a century.
Recent years have seen huge investment and as plans are being finalised for the care organisation to come under the leadership of Manchester Foundation Trust under the single hospital service, further investment is secured to create a hospital with the right care provision for the community it serves.
The teams here are immensely proud of their hospital and continue to focus on providing much needed care for a population who regularly present with varied and complex case mixes, multi-morbidity and socio-economic challenges.
Recent CQC feedback recognises the good level of care provided by our teams and improved leadership across the care organisation with an overall general improvement in areas of safety.

Feedback from January this year “To see how settled my wife was. I've seen a big difference in her appearance and attitude in a few days. It has made me feel more at ease now. I can't say anything could have made it better. I am very satisfied in what I've seen and say a big thank you to all the staff”
