Job overview

Water Meadow View is a brand-new specialist £32m mental health support facility for adults with learning disabilities in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Set on a rural 50-acre site in Whittingham, Preston, the 14 bedded unit will bring patients closer to their homes, communities and loved ones with patient-centred care, recovery and wellbeing at the heart.

The dedicated facility has been co-designed alongside learning disability experts by experience and its name, chosen in partnership with experts by experience and service users, is a reflection of its picturesque, green surroundings which are ideal for mental health recovery.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
