CoMET is the supra-regional Paediatric Critical Care Transport Service serving the Paediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) at Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester Glenfield and Nottingham Children's Hospital.

CoMET, hosted by the University Hospitals of Leicester launched in March 2017 and is responsible for covering the east Midlands, providing advice and support for our 11 referring centres. CoMET is a two site service operating out of Leicester Royal Infirmary and the Nottingham Children's Hospital at the Queens Medical centre. The team operates a 24 hour acute service 7 days a week and a repatriation service in daytime hours to help create patient flow in our critical care beds within the region.

Applications are currently invited for nurses looking to join the Leicester based part of this service. Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to work with our world class ECMO service as well as opportunities to take part in high fidelity simulations and other on-going educational prospects. As a member of the CoMET team you will be contributing to the delivery of a high quality, safe and efficient transport service for critically ill children and their families.
