Are you a capable and confident individual, who enjoys a challenge and would like to champion and drive forward research?

As an organisation we believe that every patient should be given the opportunity to be involved in clinical research. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is capable of contributing to the development of research across a growing number of studies.

As a Clinical Research Nurse you will be responsible for assessing and managing the care pathways for patients participating in clinical trials. This will involve the recruitment, education and monitoring of trial patients and the collection and documentation of accurate data. You will also work collaboratively with the clinical trials team and the wider multi-disciplinary team in the management of a caseload of clinical trial patients.

You will be instrumental in implementing study objectives and will be involved in ensuring that research undertaken safeguards the well-being of patients and is undertaken within ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Opportunities for developing new research/clinical skills are available and actively encouraged. The clinical research practitioner role is progressive and the post holder will be able to continue with their own personal development as well as contribute to the development of future services.

Hours of work: 18.75 hours per week to be worked Monday-Friday with some flexibility.

**If you are considering applying for this post on a secondment basis, please discuss with your Line Manager prior to applying to ascertain whether this could be supported.**
