Job overview

As a member of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of patients’ individual care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Main duties of the job

We are passionate about getting it right for patients and their families. In order to achieve this we are looking to appoint a compassionate, enthusiastic, motivated and caring nursing healthcare assistant (HCA) who has proven experience in providing care.

The successful candidate will join our busy, friendly clinical team of Clinical Nurse specialists, Nurses and Doctors to deliver safe and effective care to patients who are receiving care in our Gynaecology Assessment and Early Pregnancy Unit and for patients who are  having general outpatient gynaecology appointments at Barnet General Hospital.

A vital part of this role will be acting as a support and chaperone to patients whoa are being seen in the early stages of pregnancy and attending outpatient Gynaecology appointments.  We are looking for someone that has excellent communication skills and who can build an excellent relationship with our patients quickly.
