Adult Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Care Practitioner job opportunities for our Urgent Treatment Centre – Permanent, full or part-time. Band 8a.
Could you be a part of our new Urgent Care Centre team? Croydon runs one of the busiest ED/UTC departments in London, seeing 120,000 patients each year. On the 1st April 2017, Croydon University Hospital took over the contract for the Urgent Treatment Centre and we are looking for experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Care Practitioners to join the team.
Now is an exciting time to join our team. We have moved to our brand new ED and UTC since December 2018 with the new £21.25m state-of-the-art Urgent Care Centre have been designed as a bigger and better emergency care facility for thousands of people living in London’s largest borough with a dedicated paediatric department.
Croydon staff receive on-going support and development in their role, including hands on guidance from three dedicated practice development practitioners and access to a wide-range of in-house and external courses. Training at the Trust also supports nursing revalidation, helping nurses to build their portfolio of CPD evidence and competency documents.
We are now looking for adult ANP's/ACP's.
To join our friendly and dynamic team you will need to be an enthusiastic, energetic, proactive practitioner committed to your professional development and that of others. We are looking for practitioners with demonstrable post-registration experience, to bring their skills to our team.
Having the qualifications and ability to see both adults and children would be particularly advantageous.
We would consider applications from exceptional candidates who would be interested in applying to train into this post. This would be as a band 7, upgrading to a band 8a on successful completion of training.
Interviews will be all day, including OSCE assessment.
