Job overview
Safeguarding Children Advisor and MASH Health Professional
Band 7, Full Time - 37.50 hours
Croydon health service (CHS) safeguarding team are seeking to appoint an experienced specialist practitioner with in-depth knowledge of child protection and advanced analytical skills for safeguarding children. The CHS safeguards teamwork across the acute setting (Croydon university hospital and the community settings. The team promoted a think family model which is promoted across the whole trust. The post holder will be required to rotate between working as the MASH health professional within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), based within Croydon Local Authority offices and Safeguarding Advisor role will include rotating to cover the hospital setting and the community setting

Main duties of the job
The main duties include not only rotating in to Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), But also:-
Supervision including group and 1 to 1 supervision in the community and at the hospital.
Delivering Training at level Three.
Covering acute service in the hospital including emergency department.
Attending Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP), MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference), MACE (Multi-Agency Child Exploitation), NRM (national referral Mechanism) and support practitioner with mental capacity act for 16 years upwards and deliver "Think Family Approach " to safeguarding.
