Job overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse who holds the SPQDN and clinical skills to work within our integrated Primary Care Hub, covering South Bedfordshire (Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Toddington, and Leighton Buzzard). This newly developed post will help support newly appointed nurses into post, ensuring a robust induction into their role and competency sign off. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring the wider teams competencies are also up to date and reviewed periodically. This is a friendly, dedicated and supportive team where professional guidance is readily available. The successful candidate will be expected to support in the absence of the Primary Care at Home Manager or Team Lead's.

Education
Essential criteria
- Registered General Nurse
- Educated to Masters level or equivalent
- Post-registration qualification in District Nursing
- Demonstrable evidence of significant post-registration nursing experience, including in a community setting
Desirable criteria
- Independent Prescriber
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate evidence-based practice and up-to-date clinical skills
- Experience of clinical leadership
- Extensive experience of complex assessment of health and social needs
- Ability to oversee multiple caseloads and monitor quality
Desirable criteria
- Relevant teaching/mentoring qualification and evidence of teaching skills
Knowledge
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of and commitment to multi-professional working
- Demonstrate working within a multi-agency environment.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of partnership working.
- Demonstrate application of clinical governance
- Excellent understanding of community health and social care principles and practice
