Staff Nurses, King’s Critical Care

Band 5

Full Time 37.5 hours/week

£30,786 - £37,840 Salary Includes London Weighting at 20%

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 nurses who want to advance their career in nursing to join the Critical Care department at one of the UK's best-known hospitals. • NMC registration
• 6 months post qualification experience within an acute clinical setting

Main duties of the job

• To be a safe and effective practitioner able to provide high quality nursing care to patients and support to relatives
• To work with and support within a multi-disciplinary team to provide continuing care to a specified group of patients
• To supervise and teach junior members of staff and learners
• To maintain own personal development with support.

Particular emphasis is put at King’s on the need to ensure that all staff recognise their responsibility to deliver services in a high quality, courteous, patient focused manner maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
