Job overview
Cardiac Catheter Lab Staff Nurse - Northwick Park ( working cross-site)
We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
In this role, you will work as both a scrub and circulating nurse during interventional cardiology procedures, as well in the cardiac day care unit. The position also includes participation in an on-call rota. In return, we offer excellent learning and development opportunities in a supportive and friendly clinical environment.
Main duties of the job
- The post-holder will work closely with the Cath lab managers and the multidisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of high standard of care to cardiology patients in daycare and the Cardiac catheter lab.
- The post-holder will support an environment that promotes excellence in nursing practice and development of high levels of nursing skills.
- The post-holder will work as part of the 7-day working and the 24/7 on call rota for primary PCI when it is established. In the absence of Cath lab activities, the post holder will be deployed to the other Cath lab within the trust or a ward environment.
- The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care with direct supervision and is required to participate in all clinical procedures whilst maintaining a safe working environment.

- Currently registered with the NMC in UK

Knowledge and experience

- Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology
- Effective written and electronic communication
- ILS/ALS or desire to do so
