Exciting Opportunity for a Passionate Paediatric Nurse

Are you an enthusiastic, innovative paediatric nurse eager to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced nurse who is dedicated to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care and committed to driving quality improvements in line with both local and national standards.

This role provides a fantastic platform to shape and develop services for children with confirmed long-term diagnoses, with a primary focus on asthma and epilepsy. You will have the chance to influence positive change, enhance patient experiences, and contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.

We’re seeking a motivated and proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is passionate about making a meaningful impact on children, their families, and the wider healthcare team. Your leadership and ability to inspire change will be vital in elevating the standard of care we provide.

If you’re ready to share your expertise, expand your skills, and be part of a forward-thinking team committed to transforming paediatric care, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Join us in making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people with complex, long-term health conditions.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive paediatric nurse to play a vital role in coordinating care for children with confirmed long-term diagnoses, primarily focusing on asthma and epilepsy. This exciting opportunity allows you to work across multiple settings and services, ensuring seamless, patient-centred care for some of our most vulnerable young patients.

In this role, you will develop, deliver, and evaluate individualised treatment plans in close collaboration with the child's named consultant. Your expertise will help establish clear pathways of care and facilitate effective communication through liaison and referrals to other agencies as needed. Additionally, you will support compliance with national audit programmes, contributing to ongoing service improvement and quality standards.

If you are passionate about holistic, coordinated care and making a positive impact on children’s health journeys, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in paediatric healthcare.
