Job overview
The post holder will be a member of the theatre team, providing support and assistance to professionally qualified staff and other team members. Responsibilities will include transfer and collection of patients to and from ward areas, equipment care, infection prevention / control, ancillary and clerical duties. The current post requirement is to support a 6-day service with a potential of change to 7-day service due to future developments to the role and service requirements.

- Work/experience in a hospital/theatre environment

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to undertake manual handling training and undertake manual handling duties specific to role
- Ability to undertake training specific to theatre environment
