Radiology Assistant
FULL TIME 37.5HRS - 9 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
We are looking for a well-motivated Radiology Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team to cover maternity leave. The position will be a band 3 and support the Radiology service. Delivery of a high standard of patient care is an essential part of this role.
We are looking for an internal candidate who is competent in cannulation and able to provide evidence of this. Completion of the Care Certificate is also essential.
Main duties of the job
Radiology provides imaging services to hospital wide clinical areas. Our areas include trauma and orthopaedic radiography, general x-ray work, theatre and interventional radiology. The Department also provides a full range of specialist services including Ultrasound, CT Scanning and Nuclear Medicine. Your role will be to assist the Sonographers, Radiographers and Radiologists in the delivery of these services ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained at all times.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours. We are looking for full time applicants. Ability to participate in 7 day working patterns is essential including evening sessions. All candidates must attend the interview in person with evidence of recent cannulation training.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £45.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
