An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced Staff Nurse or an existing Band 6 looking for a new challenge  to join our team on the Surgical Assessment Unit and ward29 here at Aintree.

The unit has 6 assessment trolleys , a large ambulatory area and provides care for patients with acute surgical problems including MFU and ENT . Ward 29 is a 35 bedded ward and provides care for patients with acute surgical problems also including ENT ands MFU.

You will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skills in caring for patients with minor to acute surgical conditions . Applicants must possess excellent communication skills , have a flexible working approach and a willingness to work as part of a forward thinking team, as well as a strong commitment to ensuring a positive hospital experience for patients and their relatives/carers.

Successful applicants will be able to support the Ward Manager in ensuring the environment is managed safely and effectively over a 24-hour period. You will play a vital role in the delivery of a high standard of care to service users, providing support , supervision and education for colleagues, other professionals and students
