An exciting opportunity has arisen for  a band 3 healthcare assistant on New Ward 8C at the Royal Liverpool Hospital: Diabetes and Endocrine. 

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high standards of nursing care and is keen to develop further. You must be an enthusiastic team player who has excellent communication and organisation skills.

Main duties of the job

Participate in all aspects of patient care

Care and support  patients and their families 

Clinical skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, ECG recording

Participate in the rehabilitation of the patient

Communicate effectively with all members of the multi disciplinary team

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Ward / Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer.

The post holder will undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by a registered nurse.
