Job overview
Main duties of the job
You will be accountable for overseeing the performance of our inpatient Gastroenterology wards and departments against key indicators and measures of quality, governance, workforce, finance and clinical effectiveness.
You will be a Registered Nurse with demonstrable leadership experience and a drive to be a visible leader to your teams.
For this role you will need the ability to lead teams effectively and display confidence in decision making. You must display a positive and professional manner, have a non-judgmental attitude, and be flexible and open to change.
You will also participate in the Matron of the day and Clinical Management On Call rotas and play an active role in patient flow.

- Post-graduate/registration Management or Training qualification /equivalent

- Demonstrable experience as a clinical manager, with responsibility for clinical quality, people management, budget responsibility and successful delivery of performance targets and quality standards within strict financial controls
Knowledge
