Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 2 healthcare assistant to work in a regional nephrology and transplant unit, ward 7B.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high standards of nursing care and is keen to develop further. You must be an
enthusiastic team player who has excellent communication and organisation skills.
Band 2s will not be eligible for sponsorship as these roles will not meet the required skill level (RQF 3 or A level and above), despite having their salary increase
Main duties of the job
Participate in all aspects of patient care
Care and support transplant patients and their families pre and post operatively
Clinical skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, ECG recording
Participate in the rehabilitation of the patient
Communicate effectively with all members of the multi disciplinary team
