Job overview

Please note that you are submitting an application to join our Band 5 Staff Nurse pipeline and agree, by submission of application, to be added to our talent pool for a period of 12 weeks.  You application will be subject to a selection process - including shortlisting and interview. Candidates successful at interview will be added to our pipeline and offered roles as & when they become available for a period up to 12 weeks. You may choose to withdraw from the pipeline process at any time. Roles offered may be full or part time, and permanent or fixed term.  Shift patterns may be rotational, including nights.

We are looking to recruit individuals to undertake this role and be committed, motivated and compassionate, with good organizational and communication skills, to complement our existing teams. 

Main duties of the job

You will be encouraged to expand and develop your knowledge, skills and competencies within a supportive and friendly environment. Whilst oncology experience is not necessary, there must be a willingness to learn about the specialty. Integrity, vision and a desire to take the service forward and expand the nursing role are also a requirement.

The job is challenging and interesting and the many different protocols means treatment plans are varied and there is a lot to learn, making this an exciting place to work.
