We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Healthcare Assistant to join Caton Ward, one of our Neurosurgical Wards within The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical needs, working closely with registered nurses, doctors and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

• Deliver high‑quality, compassionate, patient‑centred care under the supervision of registered staff
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility and nutrition
• Support nursing staff with clinical observations, recording and reporting changes in a patient’s condition
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with Trust policies
• Promote patient dignity, safety and infection prevention at all times
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team
