We provide healthcare services to people living in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf county borough areas, serving a population of around 450,000. We are ideally situated between Wales’s capital city, Porthcawl to the west, and the stunning scenery in the Brecon Beacons.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 x permanent band 6 Crisis Resolution Home Treatment (CRHT) practitioners to work with the team at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. CRHT covers the Rhondda & Taff Ely localities.
We are an incredibly compassionate, patient focused and psychologically minded service and we are looking for like mind individuals to join our team.
We are currently undergoing a service review, and this is an excellent time , being the opportunity to be part of a service improvement plan.
The post holder’s role will be to support the provision of health care to the people of the Rhondda & Taff Ely region, contributing to a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week provision of a Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Service for clients experiencing a mental health crisis.
This will involve both lone and joint assessments of people’s mental health as part of the gate keeping service for our in-patient beds. It will also involve working with people in their own home, as an alternative to hospital admission .
We are looking for enthusiastic, resilient and committed practitioners who are proactive but also effective team players.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
