An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Band 6 Specialist CAMHS Nurse to work within our community service in the Cwm Taf Locality.
Over the past couple of years, CAMHS within Wales have received an injection of new Welsh Government funding for the development of specific services within CAMHS, including Crisis, First Episode Psychosis, Psychological Therapies, Neuro- Developmental Services and Primary CAMHS.
The CAMH Service has a number of bases across the Locality although the majority of the clinical work will be undertaken at the Child and Family Centre, Tonteg and Keir Hardie Health Park in Merthyr. The post holder's clinical work will be as part of a multi-disciplinary community team working across the locality.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAMHS Nurse to develop their therapeutic skills. You will manage a caseload of young people with mental health difficulties and you will provide therapeutic packages of intervention to support them and their families.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Closing date: 25th February 2019

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
