Operating Theatre Practitioner (ODP/RN) - Day Surgery Unit

Band 5

We are currently looking to recruit Theatre Practitioner  ODPs / Staff Nurses to join us as part of our friendly and enthusiastic day surgery theatre team.

Our day surgery unit comprises of 4 operating theatres, a minor procedure room and a recovery area.

We cover a wide range of specialties including oral, ENT, gynaecological, urological, orthopaedic, ophthalmic, general surgery and a pain service.

We offer a busy exciting work environment and we are committed to the support and training of our staff, as such we are keen to develop suitable candidates within the role.

You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, preferably have experience in a day surgery theatre environment and possess excellent communication skills. We require individuals who are forward thinking, well organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. Exceptionally, newly qualified staff will be considered.

Please note, applications will only be considered from registered ODPs or registered Nurses with an approved UK qualification.

This post has been identified as involving access to vulnerable adults and/or children and in line with Trust policy successful applicants will be required to a undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
