Exciting opportunity arise for a Junior Sister/Charge nurse in Frailty Same day Emergency Care Department (SDEC), unit within Urgent and Emergency care .This is a newly created post after successful pilot project.

We provide support with CPD and revalidation as well as in house training specific to the speciality.

Our Consultants ,Matron, Senior Sister and the rest of the multidisciplinary team will support your development and will invest their own expertise and time with you to ensure your career and the service continues to develop.

Essential criteria
  • RGN Degree/Diploma in nursing
  • Evidence of Post registration Educational Continuing development
Desirable criteria
  • Recognised NMC Teaching and Assessing Qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake, or in progress.

Experience

  • Post registration experience
  • Evidence of innovation and achievements in clinical practice
  • Can demonstrate their experience of collaborative working
  • Can demonstrate the use of appropriate criteria to prioritise patient case load
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of working as part of a multi- disciplinary working experience
  • Demonstrates experience of clinical risk management
  • Community experience
