Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Support Worker at York Hospital, you will be part of a multi-professional team providing high standards of care to our patients. You will maintain and promote patient independence and dignity to ensure each patient receives a positive experience. Please see the attached document ‘Healthcare Support Worker Key Duties’ to see a full list of key duties.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be expected to work a combination of shifts including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays:
- Early – 07:00-15:00
- Late – 12:00 - 20:00
- Long Day – 07:00 - 20:00
- Night – 19:30 - 07:30
Please be aware that you must be able to attend a full time induction programme for the first 4 weeks in your new role, commencing within 3 months of your interview date.
