Main duties of the job
You will play an integral role within the nursing team, providing essential support to registered staff in delivering high-quality, individualised, and compassionate care to patients.
You will be responsible for delivering personal and clinical care to a high standard, including undertaking clinical observations and carrying out delegated interventions as directed by a registered practitioner, in line with your skills, training, and competencies.

Education, Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to Vocational Qualification/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of education, training and experience
- Holds National Care Certificate or equivalent level of education, training or experience (e.g. able to demonstrate the skill and competency to undertake the clinical duties as described in the job description)
- Holds Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English or education equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Speciality specific training and competencies achieved and ongoing development
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in an healthcare, social care organisation/setting or service industry requiring people contact
- Knowledge of infection prevention & control and safeguarding processes
- Experience of working in a healthcare team and patient setting
