Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 6 Charge Nurse Position within Creaton Ward at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust.

Creaton Ward is an Acute Medical Ward, taking care of those patients who are acutely unwell, suffering from complex medical conditions and with varying medical histories. Creaton Ward works closely with its MDT colleagues to develop and structure a plan of care around each of our patients. We are a progressive ward with a focus on staff development and advancement with the aim of delivering best possible care to our patients.

We are looking for a motivated, innovative and enthusiastic individual, to become an integrated and integral team member with the purpose of delivering outstanding high quality care to our patients.  The role will involve deputising for the Ward Sister and proactively ensuring that standards are maintained and progressed.  The band 6 will take on some key management responsibilities under the direct supervision of Sister.

Recent experience within an Acute hospital environment is essential.
