We are delighted to offer a rewarding opportunity for an Assistant Pre-Operative Assessment Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As part of the Pre-Operative Assessment service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role offers an excellent chance to develop a broad range of clinical skills including:
- 12-lead ECG recording
- Venepuncture
- Local anaesthetic telephone assessments
You will be an integral part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, committed to ensuring patients are fully prepared for their surgical journey.

- Demonstrate clear and robust communication skills
- Must understand basic requirements for individualised personal care
Qualifications/Academic/Craft/Professional

- NVQ 2 in care or working towards
- Relevant experience

- NVQ 3 in care

- Venepuncture, SFHT clinical procedure training for HCAs
