Main duties of the job

A midwife who will provide high standards of clinical care throughout the pregnancy continuum. You will have recent Intrapartum experience in either a labour suite, an AMU or home birth environment. You will fulfil the role of an active member of the midwifery team and provide evidence of continuing professional development and clinical experience.

Research and Education
- Be curious – by taking part in clinical audits and trials to improve patient care. By using, developing, and sharing evidence based practice to carry out care competently and efficiently. And by participating in the evaluation of our education programmes.
- Be an educator – mentoring both qualitied and unqualified staff, including student midwives. Help people develop their leadership and supervision skills and complete any documentation required when taking on the role of mentor. Assist in the orientation of new staff or Return to Practice midwives where you will act as a preceptor
