An exciting opportunity has arisen in Theatres to recruit Band 5 ODP/Anaesthetic Nurses (Theatre Practitioner) to join our fantastic theatre teams. You will be a highly motivated, innovative, and progressive individual committed to the development of yourself, your team, and our changing services.
You will be joining a pro-active, dynamic team of nurses and ODP’s who offer the best standards of perioperative care. Every day is different - challenging but rewarding. We pride ourselves on team work, learning, and being forward thinking.
Please note, that due to ongoing service developments the post holder may be required cross site at our other Theatre Complex with the agreement of the Speciality Team Leader.

To deliver high quality holistic care to patients

Communication Skills
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate effective written communication skills
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate Computer literacy & use of IT skills – e.g. e-mail, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience, Analytical and Judgement
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Theatre/Recovery role
- Demonstrate an ability to assess, plan, deliver, prioritise and evaluate patient care
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate an involvement in link nurse, or project work
- Previous theatre experience
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Current level on NMC registration/HCPC registration or due to be registered in the next 3 months
- Diploma or Degree in health/nursing with accredited anaesthetic practice qualification or due to qualify in the next 3 months
Desirable criteria
- Continuing professional development/reflective profile
- Mentorship qualification

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
