Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is thrilled to announce the introduction of providing nursing care within our Transitional Care Service, spanning both the Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) and Nottingham City Hospital campuses. We are looking for a visible leader who is a professional role model dedicated to high standards of care and patient safety, with excellent leadership, communication and people skills and experience of managing change.
This is a new role that you will make your own. You will predominantly lead, manager and support a team of Band 5 Neonatal Transitional Care Nurses and join us on this exciting journey, shaping the future of care for babies and their families.

What We’re Looking For:
As the Transitional Care Unit Ward Manager/charge nurse you will oversee the service and ensure that the standards and quality of care given to the babies are to the highest standard, reducing separation of mothers and babies.
The successful candidate will be an effective leader and role model and will be expected to provide leadership, education and managerial support and use experience to support the implementation of both clinical and non-clinical governance.
You will be committed to working flexibly as a member of the service team to support and ensure standards are being maintained, evaluated, and where necessary improved.

- NMC Registration
- Relevant post-basic study appropriate to specialty to degree/masters level
- Experience in neonatal care
