Job overview

The post holder will be expected to:

Provide support for a small team of Healthcare Assistants undertaking PCR screening.

Undertake supported/directed COVID PCR swabs.

Assist with the management of swab results.

Adhere to Trust policies and participate in development of the service.

The post holder will be based at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Corporate Directorate based at Nottingham City Hospital.

  • First Level Nursing registration with NMC

Analytical and Judgement Skills

  • Understand the importance of written procedures

Planning and Organisation

  • Ability to prioritise and adjust as appropriate, own workload to ensure tasks are progressed/completed in timely manner
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment
