A great opportunity to join a successful £449m turnover integrated NHS Foundation Trust. Our service portfolio includes mental health, intellectual disability and specialist mental health services, community physical health for both adults and children, prison health and our low, medium and high secure hospitals including Rampton Hospital. The Trust is also involved in a number of collaborations in research and innovation with the Institute of Mental Health, the University of Nottingham and other partners.

Our services are provided by 8,900 staff in hospitals, community settings and patients' own homes, predominately in Nottinghamshire, but services are also provided in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

The Department of Psychological Medicine is a PLAN accredited mental health liaison team providing mental health assessments and liaison with health providers in the general hospital.

We are seeking to recruit a band 5 nurse or Occupational Therapist to join a very busy team providing a service to Nottingham University Hospitals.

The role will involve assisting in mental health assessments and providing support to referring areas such as the Emergency Department and NUH wards at the QMC and City Hospital.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, patient centred individual who works well as part of team.

We will provide ongoing support to the successful candidate to develop their clinical skills within a liaison mental health setting. This will include an induction programme and ongoing clinical supervision.
