Are you an experienced dental nurse looking to make your next steps in your dental career?
The Oxfordshire Community Dental Service is looking to appoint a lead dental nurse to join our successful and motivated team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to expand their knowledge and gain experience in this challenging but rewarding role.
You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills and will work in close collaboration with the Dental Nurse Manager, Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Leads. The lead nurse provides leadership, guidance and line management to dental nurse team to ensure smooth running of the service.
Alongside leading the nursing team, you will ensure the patient has an excellent service experience at every visit as well as ensuring the clinician is effectively supported chair side. Your Dental Nursing skills will be maintained by regular clinical sessions ensuring that you and your team provide high quality dental nursing.
We support our nursing staff to work in all the above aspects of dentistry including the delivery of inhalation sedation training, CPD support and post certificate funding.
You will need to have a flexible approach to working across our many dental sites and the appropriate skills to work within our modern, well equipped clinics.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
