Working alongside the Immunization Team, Occupational Health and a wider vaccination team, within the post you would support the health board to meet the Welsh Government Targets for immunization and support the safe delivery of mass vaccination programme e.g. Covid-19, Influenza. This will include the routine immunization schedule, and offering vaccinations in response to emergency situations.
Any of the following are eligible with training to become a vaccinator?
Registered nurses/midwives (NMC)
Registered Doctors (GMC)
Pharmacists (GphC) [Primary Care & Hospital setting] *
Chiropodists and podiatrists*
Orthotist and Prosthetist*
Operating Department Practitioners
Speech and language therapists
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
