Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) is a highly successful organisation with a budget in excess of £281 million to deliver healthcare services to the people of Powys. We are a rural Health Board with 133,000 people living across an area that is a quarter of Wales. With no District General Hospital, we provide as many services as possible locally through GP provision, Community Services and Community Hospitals and Clinics. If our purpose and themes resonate with you as a professional, and you would like the opportunity to join our District Nursing then we want to hear from you. As a team leader, you will lead a team of registered nurses and health care support workers to deliver a clinically effective and high quality district nursing service. You will be responsible for the proactive case management of a wide range of patients mainly of whom will have chronic conditions with complex needs. An understanding of community services and the ability to liaise with a wide range of different agencies, whilst adhering to tight time scales and working under pressure are key attributes for this post.

We are looking for a kind, caring, compassionate Registered Nurse with a post registration district nursing qualification and a passion for delivering high standards of community care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
