Job overview

A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated, Clinical Healthcare support worker with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be ready to meet the challenges of our busy eight bedded Coronary Care Unit, caring for patients with a variety of acute cardiac conditions. You will be committed to high standards of care and have the ability to work on your own initiative, within the boundaries of your role, as well as being part of the team and acting as a role model to junior staff. You will promote and participate in the achievement of the trust's values and behaviours. You will have the opportunity for professional development in a friendly and supportive environment. A NVQ level 3 or equivalent is essential, including experience in an acute hospital environment.

Main duties of the job

You will be supporting registered nurses to deliver high quality, compassionate health care to people in accordance with assessed needs and a care plan.

This is a busy role so you will be working together with your team to balance different tasks that often change.

Working as part of a team and on your own, you will draw from your knowledge, skills and experience
