Job overview

The RUH, Bath has new interesting and stimulating positions available within our new Workforce and Utilisation Team. The post holder will work with the project team team to plan, roll out and support improved use and reporting from the Trusts E-rostering systems (Allocate Health Roster, Safe Care and EOL).

The post holder will be providing  training and support to ward units as they progress through the programme, communicating via face to face, Teams and telephone. They will also use their initiative and work with various interconnected teams to problem solve a range of potential issues as they arise.

Main duties of the job

Working with the Trust's e-Rostering system; Allocate Health Roster, and its associated tools, you will be offering excellent communication, teaching and support to predominantly clinical staff.

As a key member of a small project team, you will need strong organisational and solution finding skills and an ability to work across different systems and databases. You will be building working relationships both within the team and across the organisation at all levels as the project evolves.

You will contribute to the project planning and delivery, with regular reporting of progress through the project group and other organisation audiences.

Organising and providing training to small groups of staff and providing a point of knowledge in the rostering systems and process,

Attendance at any enhanced training provided to update your knowledge base.

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with evidence of degree level study
  • Evidence of commitment to continued learning and professional development
Desirable criteria
  • Change management training

Knowledge & Experience

  • Substantial occupational experience in a related nursing role.
  • Experience with e-rostering
Desirable criteria
  • Experienced on allocate package – H.Roster, Safe Care and employee online
  • Experience in Project management
