Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for an Anaesthetic Theatre Team Leader to join our 24/7 team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking individual, who is looking to further develop existing skills in the Operating Theatre environment.
You will be able to communicate effectively and adopt a practical common sense approach to working and you should have evidence of continued professional development and ability to motivate and lead a team.
Main duties of the job
Candidates should be ambitious individuals who can help drive our department into the future. If you are forward thinking with the motivation to progress and have an eye for performance and delivery, then we are looking for you.

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse or registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development
- Significant experience as an anaesthetic support practitioner
- National recognised qualification as Anaesthetic Practitioner
Desirable criteria
- Educated to degree level
- Leadership programme
- Mentorship/teaching qualification or evidence of working towards
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Excellent clinical skills
- Varied clinical specialty experience at B5
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of HR policies and processes
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
