Job type: Permanent

Working pattern: 36 hours per week, full rotational post  - part-time considered

Specialty/Function: Critical Care Unit - Pods 3-6

As a Clinical Support Worker on Critical Care you will be required to provide support in the provision of care for critically ill patients.

Main duties of the job

Providing support to the nursing team who are caring for Level 3 and Level 2 patients and undertaking other appropriate duties as directed by the nurse in charge.

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of good numeracy and literacy
  • Functional Skills Level 1 Math & English
Desirable criteria
  • Hold or be working towards a vocational qualification in a care environment such as NVQ Level 2 qualification
  • Functional Skills level 2 or grade C/4 or above GCSE English and Maths
  • Care Certificate

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in a Level 2 facility
