Senior Maternity Support Worker
Band 4
Job overview
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and committed Band 4 Senior maternity support workers (MSW) to join our substance misuse and safeguarding team.
Level 4 MSWs support the delivery of integrated maternity services to women and their families during pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period. The role holder will liaise with a number of community and hospital-based services to enhance the service offered to women and their families through the direct delivery of care, and as a point of contact for support or signposting.
We invite applications from applicants who fulfil the requirements for Band 4 MSWs via an apprenticeship route, or successful completion of Level 5 FDSci Health and Social care or following successful completion of years 1 and 2 of pre-registration midwifery programme (please see person specification)
