An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Band 5 Registered Nurse to join West Suffolk Professionals at the West Suffolk Hospital to work within the Endoscopy Unit.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join a team of dedicated and passionate staff members who strive to deliver care of the highest quality.

The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a drive to promote a high standard of care for our patients.

• WE ARE VERY FLEXIBLE WITH THE HOURS FOR THIS POST - ANY HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED TO SUIT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

• WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO SUPPORT NEWLY QUALIFIED RNs ON BANK.  HOWEVER, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO APPLY, ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED A PERIOD OF PRECEPTORSHIP.
• IF SUCCESSFULLY  INTERVIEWED, AFTER CHECKS ARE COMPLETED, YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO A PAID 5 DAY INDUCTION COURSE.

To provide and maintain high levels of care within the Endoscopy Unit, the post holder will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, assess and monitor patients undergoing endoscopic procedures and provide care for patients pre and post procedure.

There will be a variety of shifts, including some evenings and weekends, in order to help meet government and Trust targets.

The post holder will be expected to participate in emergency out of hours on-call rota.
