Our staffing bank is looking to grow its team of incredible Health Care Assistants (HCA's). Working on our bank allows you the flexibility of a zero hours contract, whilst allowing you to be part of one amazing team. We are a growing and changing organisation, and are looking for new team members to work with us during this time of change.
The role of a Healthcare Assistant is a very privileged role, as a HCA you will provide personal care and support to patients at their most vulnerable times. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide a compassionate, caring and safe environment for our patients.
Main duties of the job
To excel in this role you will need to have previous experience with children/special needs (Paediatrics)
- Have 6 months experience as a Health Care Assistant within the NHS.
- Experience with children with special needs
- Be IT literate
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Experience with Gastro feeding desirable
- Have an eye for detail and be able to maintain accurate documentation.
- able to do basic observations- height and weights
- Be flexible
