Band 6 -Emergency Department

Epsom General Hospital 

We are looking for Band 6 Nurses who want to develop their skills within an Emergency setting. As the top performing trust in London against the Emergency Access Target, our ED is a highly successful department but we are still looking on improving following our recent expansion.

We are developing a brand new Urgent Care Area, a new Observation ward area as well as integrating an Ambulatory care area within the Emergency Department. These new changes and developments to the department will bring a better flow to the department and ensure all patients get the best possible care.

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and caring Emergency Department nursing staff, who would like to develop his/her skills in this environment. You will be joining a supportive, friendly team that are committed to ensuring quality patient care whilst achieving the Clinical Quality Indicators. The Acutely Unwell Adult and Emergency Practice courses are desirable.

Once you have sufficient experience you could be fast tracked to obtain dual qualifications in paediatrics and mental health leading to opportunities as ENP/ANP.
