Bank Mental Health Charge Nurses
NHS AfC: Band 6
We’re a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England. We’re looking for people to help us provide high quality services for the patients, carers and local communities we serve.
We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to Sussex Partnership.

Langley Green is a purpose built hospital for people with acute mental health problems. It comprises of three acute wards which are all mixed sex, and one Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) called Amber ward, which has 12 bedrooms. Coral, Jade and Opal wards are for adults, each with 19 bedrooms and all with en-suite facilities. By joining our bank team at Langley Green you will have the opportunity to work flexibly across all wards in the hospital with our friendly and supportive team.
Sussex Partnership provides mental health and learning disability services to adults, children and young people across East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, and children's services in Hampshire. We have been awarded an overall rating of ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and assessed ‘outstanding’ for being caring.
As a Trust we make a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives across Sussex and Hampshire, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives. We believe that staff who feel valued by the Trust and are truly engaged in the organisation deliver better outcomes for our patients and we are always looking for people with the right core values to join our team. The Trust is clinician-led, and provides the highest possible level of clinical expertise throughout its services.
Our vision is to provide outstanding care and treatment you can be confident in. To achieve the highest standards we have already embarked on a programme to transform the culture of the Trust to one of continuous improvement, delivered through participation of all staff and with service users, carers and families at the heart of our efforts.
