Job overview
Skylark ward Red Kite View, within the Leeds Children and Young Peoples Inpatient Service, is recruiting a Clinical Team Manager.
As a Ward Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the General Adolescent Ward ward, and the care provided, is safe, effective and of a high standard. We are looking for someone who has the passion and enthusiasm to truly make a difference to the care of young people in an inpatient setting. We are also looking for someone who understands, and role models a multi-disciplinary and inclusive approach to care delivery, where compassionate and collective leadership is central. You will be a key colleague within the leadership and management teams across Children and Young People Services. If this is you, then we want to hear from you!

Main duties of the job
Work with the established leadership team in the service to organise, integrate, and lead a multi-professional team in providing high quality inpatient care as part of the wider Children and Young People service of Leeds and York Partnerships Foundation Trust
Work in partnership with Leadership Team and Matron in the continuing development of accessible, responsive and locally based Childre and Young People Services.
Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive targeted and user focused service through effective leadership, prioritisation and liaison with key stakeholders of the service.
Lead on the investigation of Clinical incidents in accordance with Trust Policy, complaints and service reviews and inspections.
Ensure all staff, project and budget management responsibilities are undertaken within Trust guidelines.
Act as a champion for the service, demonstrating a participative and supportive leadership style with a commitment to team working.
Manage and lead the operational functioning of the team, participating in an on-call system if required.
