Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with patient care, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Collaborating with the nursing team to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • The Care Certificate. If you do not have this, you will be supported to achieve it within the for 12 weeks of employment.
Desirable criteria
  • Educated to C Grade or Equivalent (Numeracy or Literacy)
  • NVQ in Health or Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent.

Communication Skills

Essential criteria
  • Being able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Experience

Desirable criteria
  • 1 Year in a Health Care setting as a Health Care Support Worker.
