Registered Nurse - Plastic Surgery Outpatients

The successful candidate will join a well-established team and will need to be flexible and adaptable, a good team player with the ability to work well on their own initiative and willing to take on a variety of duties, whilst having the ability to maintain attention to detail.
You will ideally have knowledge or experience within plastic surgery and/or surgical scrub skills. You should have current professional registration, evidence of continuous professional development and a teaching and assessing qualification or willingness to undertake.

Main duties of the job
Some of the nursing skills needed for a fast paced working area such as Plastic Surgery Outpatients are:
- The ability to work both independently and as part of the wider Multidisciplinary Team
- Previous experience with dressing skills to support plastic surgery and our trauma clinics
- Surgical scrub skills for supporting our outpatient minor surgical and emergency trauma lists . However if you do not have these skills, we will support you in obtaining competencies to support this service.
As part of the Plastic Surgery nursing team you will undertake all aspects of outpatient care including clinics, dressings and minor operations. If you do not already possess general scrub & circulating skills additional training will be given to support you in this role.
