Lead the Future of Community Health: 0-19 Clinical Lead – Richmond

Are you ready to lead a service that makes a real difference to families across Richmond?  We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Lead to join our 0-19 services and shape the future of community health for children, young people, and their families.

As the Clinical Lead for Health Visiting and School Nursing, you will be at the heart of our Richmond CSU.  This is a pivotal leadership role where your clinical expertise and strategic vision will ensure the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and innovative Public Health Nursing service.

You will join a supportive, forward-thinking organization that values collaboration and empowers its leaders to make a lasting impact.

Main duties of the job

  • Strategic Influence & Partnership:  Working in close partnership with local commissioners, you will ensure joint objectives are delivered and that our services are seamlessly integrated with local partners.
  • Integrated Care at the Heart of the Community:  You will collaborate extensively with Early Help teams within Family Hubs, strengthening joined-up support for families and ensuring no child falls through the gaps.
  • Championing Clinical Excellence:  You will provide strong professional leadership to our Health Visiting and School Nursing teams, supporting them in delivering the Trust’s Quality Strategy and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Robust Safeguarding Leadership:  Working alongside the Safeguarding Named Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that robust systems are in place to protect and support the most vulnerable families in our community.
  • You will be the clinical voice for the 0-19 service in Richmond, providing a sense of purpose and high standards. You will:
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day delivery of the Public Health Nursing service.
  • Lead on key projects and objectives across the organization, ensuring smooth transitions between services.
  • Support the development and training of staff, fostering a culture of compassion, equity, and professional growth.
  • Resolve complex clinical issues and provide expert guidance to frontline teams.

Working for our organisation

We are proud to be one of the largest community healthcare providers in the country, with more than 4,500 colleagues caring for over four million people across London and Hertfordshire. Every day, our teams bring their skill, compassion, and determination to the people who depend on us.

What inspires us is at the heart of who we are: when we work together, we can help people move forward in ways that truly matter. Our teams support children as they take their first steps in life, and they stand beside adults as they rebuild strength, confidence, and independence. From newborn health visiting to community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care, we are there for people through some of life’s most important moments.

Joining Central London Community Healthcare means becoming part of a community that lifts each other up. It means working in an organisation that values compassion, welcomes new ideas, and believes in the potential of every colleague. Your development matters here. Your wellbeing matters.
